I started my career in Austin as an Art Director at GSD&M, working with great people and clients like Southwest Airlines. I was thrown right in and did a lot of television, as well as print, and fell in love with the advertising industry. Eventually, wanderlust took hold and I spent some time with a backpack and a Eurorail pass, before I landed back in the U.S. ready to take my bite out of the Big Apple. I worked at several agencies, including Weiss, Whitten, Stagliano, BBDO and FCB. After a brief stint in Miami, where I taught at the Miami Ad School and discovered the joy of freelancing, my husband, Doug, and I landed back in NYC, started a family and moved to Montclair, New Jersey, which remains our home. I am an involved member of our diverse and vibrant community. I serve on the Board of the Montclair Scholarship Fund and I have been fortunate to work with many local clients and still keep my foot occasionally on the commuter train to NYC.
